Ceri-Siân is a solicitor specialising in abuse and social care claims. Before joining Pro, Ceri-Siân worked in private practice and represented local authorities in respect of the many issues that arise following allegations, abuse or professional negligence by social workers and others. This included advising regarding police investigations, dealing with the media, and handling civil claims.
Ceri-Siân acted for local authorities and their insurers in a range of circumstances including non-recent abuse claims – such as allegations of failure to remove claims, abuse by foster parents and allegations of physical and sexual abuse by local authority employees including social workers, teachers and others; and other claims – involving allegations of breach of human rights. Ceri-Siân has significant trial experience and experience in the appellate courts.
