Modern Slavery Statement for Pro Global

Opening statement from senior management

Pro Global Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (as defined under s.1162 Companies Act 2006) together “Pro Group” is committed to the principles of Modern Slavery Act 2015 and preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chains and expects those same high standards from its suppliers.

This statement sets out Pro Group’s actions taken and those which it continues to take to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business and to put in place steps aimed at ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in its own business and its supply chains. This statement relates to actions and activities during the Group financial year ending 31 December 2022.

Structure of organisation

We are a global services organisation providing brokers, insurers, reinsurers, InsurTechs and MGAs of all sizes with outsourcing and consulting services to support their business.

Our business was founded in 1993 as a run-off insurance and administration services provider and since then, we have developed expertise in a broad range of specialised insurance services.  sectors. Pro Group has offices in the UK, USA, Germany, Argentina and Brazil offering multi-territory solutions for businesses of all sizes and specialisms. The majority of the largest Lloyd’s syndicates, the five largest global reinsurers and several P&C companies worldwide use Pro Group’s services to improve their bottom line.

Policies, due diligence and risk

Pro Group seeks to ensure that they do not operate in a business sector in which they consider to be particularly susceptible to modern slavery practices such as forced labour or exploitation

We have appropriate controls in place such as our Modern Slavery policy that all staff must adhere to.  This policy is subject to regular review and is easily accessible to all staff with training as required.

We have appropriate controls in place through our third party risk management framework to evaluate our suppliers modern slavery policy, ensuring that they conduct business in a lawful and ethical manner.

The following policies support our Modern Slavery policy:

Whistleblowing policy, Pro’s  employees, can report any concerns related to unethical, illegal or dangerous practices including slavery or human trafficking relating to the direct activities, of Pro Group or its supply chains. The whistleblowing process allows employees to make disclosures, without fear of retaliation.

Company Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, Pro Group’s organisation code informs employees of the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing the organisation, how we act with each other, our clients and suppliers. All employees sign up to the Code of Conduct and certification of compliance with the Code of Conduct is required from all employees and Directors.
