Andrew Smith is a highly experienced insurance professional with over 30 years of experience within the London Market. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and currently holds the position of Executive Consultant, delegated Underwriting Audits at Pro. In his current role, Andrew undertakes Coverholder and TPA audits.
He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of a Coverholder’s or MGA’s operations, from underwriting to claims, accounts, governance, and controls. Andrew has been involved in over 100 binder reviews annually for over 20 Lloyd’s clients, covering a wide range of classes including property, casualty, contractors all risks, bloodstock, and personal accident. He has also successfully concluded numerous commutation negotiations and has been involved in numerous consulting projects such as historical inspections of records
