Hans joined Pro MGA Solutions GmbH on 1st November 1 2023 as Managing Director to spearhead the company’s European growth ambitions. With over 15 years in the insurance industry, including a decade at AIG, Hans brings extensive expertise to his role, which also includes Head of Underwriting, driving Pro MGA’s focus on MGAs amidst industry challenges. His entrepreneurial journey includes creating the innovative “Shareholder Activist Protection Insurance (SAPI)” at Volante Global, where he most recently served as MD for Volante Germany.

A Norwegian based in Berlin, Hans is known for his advocacy of insurance innovation and support for InsurTech. He holds a Ba Hons degree in Management Studies from the University of Nottingham and is passionate about leveraging technology and data for a fully digital insurance value chain. Outside of work, Hans enjoys cooking, running (recently completing the Berlin Marathon), and exploring his interests in travel and reading. His dynamic background and commitment to industry advancement make him a key player in Pro MGA’s European expansion strategy.
