Francesco Rastrelli is a senior consultant at Pro, bringing over seven years of expertise in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. He holds an MSc in International Management and is currently pursuing CII certification, having already achieved the CMI qualification. As a native Italian speaker with proficiency in Spanish, Francesco has extensive global audit experience, particularly in Italian delegated authority audits.
Francesco’s current role involves undertaking Delegated Authority audits across a wide range of classes, providing assurance and an impartial view of Coverholder/DCA operations and compliance. He is responsible for conducting on-site interviews, leading audit teams, testing underwriting and claims files, and reviewing operational policies and procedures. Francesco is also knowledgeable in the compliance issues relevant to the Coverholder/DCA’s jurisdiction, including EU directives, UK insurance acts, and FCA principles. His past and current assignments include Delegated Authority Audits under the Lloyd’s Audit scope, supporting clients’ internal audit teams, and implementing anti-bribery compliance programs. Before joining Pro, he spent seven years at PwC Italy, where he developed his skills in internal audit and compliance.
