Meet the Pros: Charlotte Fry

Tell us about your role as a PA at Pro Global? 

I joined Pro Global in September last year and provide PA support to Chris Everson, COO, as well as Rich Emmett, Head of Insurance Services, and Pervin Sivanathan, Group Head of Audit & Advisory Services. No two days are quite the same. I support with everything from arranging travel and hotels to managing diaries and moving meetings around – particularly when everyone wants a meeting room in London at the same time! 

I’m in the Liverpool office twice a week and try to visit Gloucester and London once a month, which is a great opportunity to meet colleagues face-to-face and build relationships across the business. 

You’re based in Pro Global’s new Liverpool office. What has the launch been like? 

It’s been great to see the new office open here. It’s a huge step up and has created a really positive environment, with three meeting rooms, a gym, a prayer room and lots of open space. It’s also been great seeing more senior people travelling to and from Liverpool. 

I also manage the social activities for the Liverpool office, which has been particularly exciting this year. We’ve had everything from pancake and breakfast mornings to an Easter egg hunt, an office-warming party and a summer party, which attracted more than 50 people. We’ve got a quiz night coming up in September and we’re already planning a big Halloween social! 

Do you lean on your fellow PAs across Pro Global? 

Definitely. There’s a real sense of community among the PAs, particularly where our teams overlap. We’ll lean on each other when we need to, and I always try to catch up over a coffee with other PAs when I’m in the London office. 

It’s useful professionally, but it’s also just nice to have that network of people who understand the role and can help each other out.
